On Moore's command I've brought this up because he has a point that it needs to be covered. This guy has been giving it large numerous times and Quigley is a legit 168 fighter who is naturally a middleweight, maybe lower!

It's a shame it has had to come to Hennessey putting his fighters on other peoples bills.

And you believe this why exactly? Sorry, a thread saying 'X has ducked Y because Jamie Moore says so' is not exactly irrefutable evidence of said ducking. Where were the offers...links?

Barker has took on most middleweights in the uk besides Macklin & Elock although he was supposed to fight Elock. Quigley will not go near middleweight anytime soon imo he seems content at super middle either way Barker has took on any comers at Brit level. Macklin is already far ahead of Barker and Moore ahs a decent ranking with some major bodies no point sacrificing them for a british showdown which will lose them more credibility than gain them.

You mean its a good place to hype protected boxers like barker who hasnt even crossed the line into european level yet. I hope fights lajun simon next then you can really measure the mans talents. Right now macklin, and moore beat him.

Name the unbeaten British & commonwealth champion out of the following:

    Jamie
    Tony
    Darren

Why the feck would Barker fight Quigley when he wanted Moore ?

You really think Lajuan Simon is some kind of measuring stick? As if you'd change your mind because he beat Lajuan Simon...come on man. You've had a hard on for Barker for months with your trolling.

Lajuan Simon is nothing, he has no relevance. The robotic Sylvester outboxed him with relative ease, he's hardly likely to cause a problem for Barker who can actually box AND move his feet. Have you even watched the guy..he plods around the ring throwing arm punches. Moore and Macklin are a level above him.

Tony Quigley himself has confirmed that Barker's camp turned down the fight.
To his credit Quigley said that he's known Barker a while, and didn't think Barker the type to declare himself above a fighter, and I agree with him.

Again you really don't understand, I'm not a fan or Barkers at all. I actually wait until a fighter is in a fight to prove himself rather than jump in and call him protected. Go back to boxrec add up some numbers and put it this way. Macklin was fighting the same level of opponents at middleweight about a year ago. Barker is chasing Macklin i think Macklin beats him as well but you can't say anything bad about him for wanting a fight.

Also the brit forum is probably the best on here, I have read some of your posts on here and the Irish thread your pretty useless to be honest. Not once have you made a decent argument why a fighter won't make it without numbers as in boxrec rankings.

Because when it became apparent that the Moore fight was not going to happen, perhaps Barker would've seen Quigley as an excellent first defence of his British title?
Quigley is miles better than anybody Barker's faced to date.
