Barkers fighting for the vacant European Middleweight Title on 9.4.10 @ Alexandra Palace.

Can anyone tell me about Belghecham I've never heard of him?

Belghecham seems to be another in a long line of fighters who get a title shot coming off the back of a defeat....isn't Barker fighting before September? :good

the frenchman is very defensive and wont throw until late in the fight by which time barker should have built up a sizeable lead

He boxed Andy Lee recently and lost every round bar the last.. Decent test for Darren who I really believe deserves a chance to prove himself!!

Good Luck to him and I hope you get that European title pal!!:good

Can't wait to see Barker in action again. Will this be on Sky? Anyone? Please don't give me that **** about the Discovery Channel and what not.. Lol.

edit - Sorry just checked the sticky and it is on Sky with Harrison vs Sprott no less. My apologies. That should be a decent night of boxing

Looking forward to seeing how barker does, Lee convincingly dominated belghecham for every round except the last. As far as i know he has never been dropped.

At least if Barker deals with him better than Lee he's said something about his ability.

    Just....not much. GO BARKER!!!!!!!

It's a really decent card. I've got my ticket. Should be Barkers for the taking.

Barker is the real deal. If I had to stake my money on any prospect in engalnd getting a title it would be Barker. He has everything.

barker is talented, but it is only in these types of fights we will start to actually see how he will cope at a higher level. I wish him all the best, as we need more brits pushing on at euro/world level

How has this guy got a shot at the EBU title after losing every round to Lee? Good luck to Darren but it seems EBU lately is barely harder to win than Commonwealth.
