I base my view of Khan on what I have read about him, what I have listened to him say and his performance in the ring (and against what kind of opposition).

You see I actually see in shades other than black or white and respect the commitment it takes to prepare for a prize fight.

Whilst I am not an ardent Khan supporter, if you actually take the time to read my posts you would see that they are pretty well balanced and whilst I am aware that improvements are being made to his tactics both inside and outside of the ring I should not have to forget Khan's past indiscretions just to please you.

 

I think that this fight will be close but I see Barrera having that cut re-open due to not giving it the anount of time need to heal fully....so I see that effecting Barrera and costing him rounds...so I see Khan winning a 12 round MD ...scores of 116-112 116-112 114-114

Listen, this is the fight business..... boxers are cocky and stupid .....90% of them..... there interviews are almost always full of contradictions..... there matchups are always target for thos who say they're ducking certain fighters......at tyhe end of the day "If it makes money it makes sense" and the risk v reward thing will always be there..... this fight certainly has got a lot of interest.... for obvious reasons.

Anyway, you seem to be quite hungup about Khan and seem to really hate the lad. Why not show some class or are all you irish so thick?

 

That cut is definitely a worry but although Khan hits hard if Barrera doesn't want to be hit i am not sure what Khan can effectively do to get to him.

like freddie said..foot speed will be the key for amir. I personally think if Amir has to stop Marco...otherwise Amir will be ahead on the cards and Barrera will get more aggressive and try KO him..and i think he may well do.

Prediction - Amir to win by TKO by 6 rounds..otherwise Marco takes it.

I have nothing against Khan personally, the boxer that is (my first post was just an off the cuff remark - I retract the gobby twat comment). I Just hate the "Khan product" that Frank Warren is trying to sell; basically, dont feed me **** and tell me its caviar (not a PPV boxer at this stage in his career IMO). If Khan gets to the top of the pro game then well done to the lad; I'll give him all the praise in the world and buy his PPV fights.

Believe me when I tell you that I am not bitter with rage about all the girls and money that the young Asian lad is getting (don't play the race card **** with me). Also Khan is alot taller than Barrera, I know those weigh in pics don't really show it because Khan was bare feel whilst Barrera had his sneakers on.
