    :good Good post.

I take Marquez prime for prime. There is a good reason Barrera skipped him during his days at 126.

    Barrera's prime 2000-2003

    Marquez's prime 2002-2005

    That fairly accurate?

Yeah, those are their respective prime years.

I don't think a prime Barrera, as great a boxer he was, could outbox Marquez. And if he pressured him, I see Marquez finding holes to counter him.

I watched Marquez v Polo a few days ago. I thought he was very sharp. Very quick hands, brilliant reflexes, and on his toes. However, he maybe looked as good as be possibly could against Juarez considering his age and jump up in weight. He's a tad slower than he was a couple of years ago, but nowhere near shot. He's got enough left to beat Pacquaio.

I would go with Marquez by UD.

In the late 90s-early 2000s, marquez was avoided by barrera and morales because he was an unknown commodity but his unmatched skills were widely known and it made him a highrisk/low reward opponent. Nobody ever questioned his ability though and even during their prime, Marquez has too much for barrera. Barrera wasn't as economical as he is today and he'd fall right into Marquez' counter punching game.

    Marquez wins a clear decision.

I'm leaning towards him to beat Pacquiao now

The only thing I worry about his Marquez's chin, which is pretty solid, but not made of steel. Pacquaio punches hard enough to floor Marquez again, and maybe stop him.

I'd like to see justice served, and Marquez to outbox the Pacster.
