hey barrera vs junior jones 2, how did this fight, go i heard it was close, that barrera used more of a technical style, but i never saw it?
Only seen highlights, Barrera it looked built up a small lead in the 1st half but let Jones come back into it in the 2nd half. I will have to see the full fight to get a better picture, I do know that nobody thought the verdict was wrong except Barrera, it was regarded as 1 of those close but clear victories.
For most part, you're right. He swept most of the early rounds, but didn't pull the trigger often enough down the stretch to carry on his momentum. He was too conscious of Jones right hand. This was the first time we really saw Barrera, the Boxer, and he would go on to improve leaps and bounds, burying the results to Jones along with it.
