I doubt this is true, but if it is then Soto wins by wide decision. Barrera has no business being in the ring again, he is just tarnishing a truely great career.

Barrera should fight Cassius Baloyi's IBF 130 belt or Alex Arthur's WBO 130 belt instead, then retire as champion...

Yep, he could beat both those guys, he would just take a beating ala Junior Jones I if he fights Soto.

Why do you guys even look at BoxRec they always put up false fights and dates...Jeeez just 2 months ago Cotto wasn't even ranked in there top 20 P4P that tells u alot...Soto will fight Pacquiao if Valero is unavailable due his medical clearance

That would be better, Barrera had no fire against PAc last time and probably will have no motivation to hit up the fight next time. I personaly would like to see him fighting Guzman.

Barrera is thinking of making a comeback against (Juan Manuel) Marquez assuming he beats Joel Casamayor on Sept. 13. Barrera isn’t interested in Casamayor, only Marquez because he thinks he was robbed in their first fight.”

imo, this is still a good fight. the barrera that fought jmm and pac was still pretty good imo especially the one who fought marquez. soto is not marquez nor pac. this could be a winnable fight for him if he did not regress much from his last fight with pac.

Boxrec likes to put up a lot of BS supposed matchups on their site. If I were you guys, I wouldn't put much stock in this.

Barrera give Soto a boxing lesson ... Soto didn't impress me against Guzman and i'm sure that he won't have an answer for Barrera's jab.
