He was pretty annoying at times last night but would have much rather heard him over Nelson and McCrory.
People will always complain. Barry is good, probably the best out of all the Sky boys. As for Nelson, his problem is that he's always interrupting people and jumping in, instead of waiting till they finish what they are saying before having his say. You can tell Barry and Mcrory get annoyed at this.
He knows his stuff no doubt but they keep shouting over each other and Barry is the worst at that it's pretty annoying sometimes i agree Paul Dempsey was much better
I think they had too many pundits yesterday and that was the first time I've been annoyed at McGuigan. Maybe he got himself too hyped up with the Frampton or something but he was yapping like a little dog

I think Barry gets annoyed bt the driven that McCory and Nelson spout. To be honest McCory made a lucky call last night and just gloated like a slurring drunk. McGuigan is easily the most astute of the three. I actually prefer Jim Watt in the studio guest role to that of a co-commentator. For me i think we would get some better insight if they got some trainers in the studio. Tibbs and Eames would be good if they could with some truing as would Adam Booth and Brian Hughes
Booth would be brilliant in the studio. Booth, Woodhall and say somebody like Moore. Now that's a trio!
Atleast he tells is as he sees it. He's no company man who keeps regurgitating the same old ****. Too many on that Sky panel aint got the plums to stand up and say it as it is because they dont want it to effect their future employment. Bazza dont give a ****. PS Nelson is the most annoying pundit on that panel by far.
He can get a bit over excited same with Nelson that usually leads to madness. What happened with Steve Collins doing the studio work. He was everywhere for a few months and now he is nowhere. I thought he was good and added a good bit to the studio.
Barry is alright imo. I don't know why they still have McCrory and Nelson. People like Murray and Woodhall would be far more interesting and insightful than those two and also Watt always seems better to me in the studio. They would just need to find someone to colour-commentate.
