Barry McGuigan v Josh Warrington..

With all due respect to Josh,Barry would take him to school taking a wide unanimous decision or even a late ko

 

For years now I have criminally underrated Warrington. He's a much more rounded fighter than my eye test let me see. He's also brighter than you might first imagine and a spin-off from that is good ring IQ.

That said, I pick McGuigan. He can match Josh's work rate - had a better range of punches - and with them hits harder. But it's a damn good match-up....

Barry wasn`t very skilled and was easy to hit, Warrington has a better guard and more savvy.

 

Frampton is better than anybody Barry beat, Pedroza didn`t look great v Barry and had extreme trouble making the weight.

 

Sheffield?

 

Warrington is a better and faster combo puncher.

 

Kid Galahad is Barry from Sheffield.

 

McGuigan is probably the better skilled of the 2. However, Warrington’s work rate is phenomenal, his opponents never get a break. He takes a decent shot too.
Would be a great fight. Wouldn’t surprise me if Josh wins on pts.
