What does race have anything to do with judging if a fighter has talent or lack of talent. Gets me wondering about how you judge boxing. As far as making referance to my boxing knowledge of not recognizing a good performance well:roll::lol: Ok guy Ive read your posts and threads and I am absoulutly positive that Ive been watching boxing alot longer, and have a lot more knowledge than you do.:yep
Actually Im not one to let punch stats determine what i am watching, sometimes they are a good referance but thats it.
Again I dont know what fight you were watching, you are either blind or have never laced up a glove or been involved in boxing to think that Arreola was hurt in this fight.
While i agree that Minto is no world beater I think hes a decent journeyman type and throws decent combos, and he is undersized but i think he could do somethings if he dropped down to cruiser. What kind of opponent did you expect Arreola to have only 10weeks after the Klitchko fight? Another point you said that convinces me your boxing judgement is delusional is,that you think Minto gave Arreola a tough fight:patsch Come on guy he landed some good shots but Id hardly call it a tough fight, and those shots didnt even bother Arreola. The fight went As i expected actually if you look on RUmsfield challeng Im the only one to guess the exact round. This was the exact type of fight Chris needed.
Well i dont think Cameron is any better thant Minto, maybe you are judging their abilities by their physiques, seems like thats what lot of posters on this thread are doing.

the way you put arreola on this pedostal of immortality i can only assume you have at least a months knowledge of boxing. arreola looked extremely sloppy and got hit alot, hardly what anyone with half a brain would consider a "masterful performance", add that to the fact that his opponent is the very definiton of a b-level clubber. if thats the case you must think a bar fight between two drunken idiots is a modern day reincarnation of thrilla in manilla.

what the hell would being a boxer myself influence my judgment on this **** poor performance from arreola? i was watching the fight with my sister and she doesn't know the first single, solitary thing about boxing and she concurred that arreola was getting his ass whooped. it doesn't take a boxing expert to see that, do you realize your the only one that found this fight as a great performance?? did that ever seem suspicious to you?

whether it bothered him or not is irrelevant, he still landed on arreola at will and landed just as many punches as arreola did. arreola's face was beet red after the fight, definitely not the sign of a one-sided performance.

not necessarily, minto is an undersized HW with little to no power and gave arreola some trouble regardless. he's no better than cameron, cameron hits harder, faster, better movement, just an all around better fighter than minto. minto is a nobody, and managed to leave his mark on arreola regardless.

I see that you like to exaggerate alot. Read my post again on page 3. I never put Arreola on "pedastal" or said he put on a masterful performance and even commented that he needs to tighted up his defense. What I did say is that He looked faster than I expected coming in at 262,and that it was an exciting fight and he always puts on a good fight(unlike most HW) and that hes got a good whiskers.

THe reason I made comment about you never being a ring or knowing much about boxing is because of your poor perception of a fighter being hurt. You dont have to have ring experience to know this, but you make it blatantly obvious you havent by thinking that Arreola was hurt:patsch Most fans with no box experience could see that, and I think every fighter with ring experience would tell you that he was never hurt. Yey well i also watched this fight with my Son who "is a knowledgable fan for young teen" and agreed that the fight wasnt tootough for chris.

Well i didnt give Minto one round he landed a few nice shots but he was outgunned here, HBO agreed with me also(not that they are always right)o

Ok im not trying to pump Minto up here but hes not exactly a bum like you say he is. He has a couple decent wins over Madolene2X,Donnell Holmes who was 31-0 before he fought Minto, faded Axel Schulz and He was very competetive with fringe contender Luan Krasniqui going 12 rounds and losing a competetive decision in Germany.
Not that good but not as bad as you make him out to be.
I am sure Arreola will fight some better comp next time.

I will take Haye over the lazy soon to be 300 lb Arreola, another thing, Minto is NOT a decent fighter, he is the very definition of Club Fighter, yet he landed the same amount of shots as Arreola did before being hurt. Arreola is a Joke period.

He is a work in progress who chose to fight the champ way too soon. He is not a joke and I don't think Haye would have the brass to step in the ring with him. So everyone can forget about that fight ever happening.

BTW, i don't think Arreola looked bad last night...he beat down a fighter he was supposed to look good against. He simply did his job. Until someone besides Vitali knocks him out, the verdict is still open.

:good Agreed The fight went exactlly as i expected,I called it a few days ago Arreola ko4,and Minto making it exciting didnt surprise me either, style wise i knew that Chris would trade with him I dont think you realize that Chris dont mind taking shots, especially against a non threat like Minto. I think his critics are looking into that fight too much.
Im positive hed ko Haye also, and Agree that Haye wouldnt have the balls to fight Chris, but im positive Arreola would fight him tommorow. Haye would give Arreola a hard time with his speed for a few rounds but eventually Arreola would end matters and ko that Chinna chinned chicken **** name David haye.

Arreola is very good for the sport of boxing. He's a fun fighter to watch inside and out of the ring.:good

Can't wait to see who has the brass to fight him next.

I agree,I am sure alot of the Posters bashing Arreola on ESB,are probably the same fans that have always complained that the Heavyweight contenders are all huggers, and boring fighters etc etc. Well Arreola throws nice combos is an exciting fighter with power and not scared to go toe to toe,now they still *****! Want to talk about his physique like a bunch of women.
Look he s fighting! He might look on the sloppy side but hes not some out of shape bum hugging like other fat heavys of the past has done. If you dont like watching Arreola fight you either arent a boxing fan or you just like to ***** to hear yourself.

If he is a top 5 HW, than that speaks Volumes about how bad HW boxing really is, even HBO who are well known for over- hyping their fighters were very critical of his conditioning and performance, Minto before being hurt was landing at will on Arreola, Only a nuthugger or someone with a motive (like making Vitali look good) would state otherwise. 263 is a joke, and that shows that Arreola has ZERO discipline or dedication to conditioning which is very important. I fail to see how anyone can say Arreola didn't look bad with Minto.

Arreola is a top 5 heavyweight. He would knock Haye out, but Haye will never fight him.

Like I said before, until someone besides Vitali knocks out Arreola, the verdict is still out. I don't have to pump up Arreola to make Vitali look good...his record and KO ratio speaks for itself.

Arreola has a great record and a great KO ratio. It seems that his weight issue is a moot point if he continues to knock guys out. No, he's not the best looking heavyweight in the division, but his style has been very effective thus far.

until he loses to someone who isn't named Klitschko, you really don't have an argument, man.
