    Close fight so far, Cordina doesn't look like a bad fighter, looks the stronger of the two. 4-4 after one.

    Cordina started fast, but maxwell produced the cleaner shots later in the round.

    Maxwell with a big round! Accurate shots, looked impressive there using his reach. Cordina got caught alot there.

    Saw sam doing pleantly of rounds sparring on Monday against a number of juniors, looked very sharp. Comon Sam.

    Very good contest and both boxers done them selfs good did think Maxwell out boxed Cordina . so does Maxwell get a box off now or does the GB selectors just pick Ward now as weaver has went off the boil and not the boxer he was but I think maybe there a new kid on the block for the future but for me having watch Ward a number of times he the one for the Olympics
