Manny looked good, but took a lot of punishment in that fight which people seemed to miss. It was a fight not close on the cards but very competitive in terms of the give and take damage. But obviously it wasn't enough damage for Floyd to take the fight. Pacquiao's high octane style lends itself to slipping quicker. Floyd preserves himself and does what he has to do, not taking chances, being calculating and throwing minimal amount of punches. It's clear to me that Floyds camp don't want this fight, because they don't think he can beat Manny. When i say his camp it's specifically Mayweather sr. who doesn't like the fight, not because he thinks Pacquiao is on steriods but because he knows what a defeat would do to his son mentally. Floyd is the type of fighter who would completely fall apart and not recover. Sr also knows that Floyd struggles with southpaws and might not be able to keep up, he didn't train his son for southpaws. Floyd respects his dad who tought him everything, I also think Floyd has lost his hunger for combat. Trust me all this other stuff is just a smoke screen and a smear campaign because of jealously. Team Mayweather are in awe of Pacquiao. Remember when the president of HBO came out and said he had no idea why Floyd was refusing to fight, that should tell you everything. Those are big comments from someone in his position. I truly believe they're hoping Pacquiao gets beat so he can say, see told you so, now i don't have to fight him...or wait for him to significantly fade and lose a step. When someone with Pacquiao style fades the results and drop is sudden and dramatic.
Although I agree he is avoiding the fight i do genuinely believe that the Mayweather camp are 100% convinced Pacquiao is on steroids.
