I do love Mays boxing, it is sexy, but Hatton, Mosley, etc etc etc, why doesnt he fight Manny, he will only take a fight he thinks he can win, guy doesnt challenge himself.

A Floyd throwing combinations is Unbeatable. See how the forearm creates enough space to unload while still protecting. All young fighters should watch that, beautiful

Floyd is way better these days, is hand speed is still about the same, but a far smarter and better defensive fighter, he was vulnerable back then when he used to try to slug it out with everyone, and take unnecessary punches, the Corley fight made changed him and made him smarter as a fighter, with his skills he can simply box and beat everyone easily.

I agree with most of this, but Floyd is not as fast as he was then. He was blazing fast at 130

Vargas was winning that fight because of all those punches he threw when Floyd was on the ropes.

"Mayweather was looking for a way out!!"

Of course not as fast as he was at 130, but considering he moved up 17 pounds and still has blinding speed at this point of his career is scary, hard work, dedication I guess.

I think the thing with Mayweather was he never really cut massive weight through out his career. As he moved up in weight he was fighting at the weight limit that was around his natural walk weight without cutting pds to make the weight division or 2 lower. His body never had to take the punishment of having to train while cutting massive weight so it won't break down as quick as other guys who do do that. To be able to eat how ever much you want allows you to train better. Since his weight climb was more natural then most other boxers who climb up in weight only when they absolutely can't make weight anymore for that weight class. His physical abilities have been able to maintain itself.

Boxing is not fighting, Boxing is a sport and calculated physical match, where the object is to hit and not get hit.....

IF you want to see to guys collide and pound on each other aimlessly go watch a bar room brawl, or a street fight in some hood.

    These are world class boxers.

A boxing match is a much like a chess game, that is why Boxing is so complex and beautiful.
