Belfort vs Franklin September 19th

Belfort is truly a phenom & if he can keep that fragile mind focused, he should be too much for Franklin but I like Vitor at 185, he looks sharp there.

 

UFC probably wants Belfort in the middleweight mix. As someone posted earlier, looks like Belfort's fight with Franklin is happening at 195: http://content.usatoday.com/communi...ranklin-belfort-fight-will-be-at-195-pounds/1

If Belfort looks good against Franlin, win or lose, I wouldn't be surprised to see him face the winner of Maia and Marquardt.

I agree... I tend to overrate Vitor myself but he is the losingest Phenom even in the history of sports. Im tired of the if hes focused, if hes in shape garbage ...How bout if hes not on roids? Hed probably have a losing record.

 

Too many people are down on Franklin with this fight, and seemingly with all his fights. He always comes in shape and is always technically sound. He'll never beat A. Silva, but I thought he beat W. Silva and Henderson and I think he has enough to beat Belfort. People always remember Belfort for looking like a god against Tank Abbott and Wandy ten years ago, but when he doesn't win quick he doesn't look that great and Franklin is too smart and disciplined to get caught. This will be a good fight, but I'm picking Franklin by UD.
