Belfort vs Stann

Should Brian Stann get past Sonnen, I think he should fight Vitor if the UFC brass don't think he's ready for Silva . This fight just screams fireworks! If not, there's always the Bisping/ Miller winner vs Vitor or Leben/Munoz vs Vitor. Depends on how quick he wants to get back into the octagon.

 

They've already said Stann/Sonnen is a number one contender fight.

To me Leben/Munoz vs Belfort makes the most sense...although I like the sound of Belfort vs Cung Le in San Jose first. If Bisping beats Mayhem you may as well pull the trigger on having him challenge Silva in the UK.

 

Stann getting a #1 contender match is nothing more than milking the patriotic cow.

 

Disagree...Leben-Santiago-Sonnen would be a hell of a resume.

 

Yea but Santiago hardly ******ts a #1 contender fight. Leben > Santiago > Munoz/Maia/Belfort. THEN #1 contention match.

 

As will said they already said its for the number 1 spot

 

Im pretty sure Sonnen will beat Stann because I dont see Stann stopping the takedowns at all...Looks like a UD win for Sonnen

 

Nobody in that division is capable of beating a great wrestler with sub defense. Fortunately for everyone, Sonen can't defend a ****ing triangle.

 

I like stann and belfort and wouldn't mind watching this fight but i like to see the winner get a shot especially if it's stann.

 

Any striker is a waste of time. Anderson isn't losing to anyone that can't score takedowns.

 

That's the thing, Belfort has a capable ground game and I'm agreeing with Belfort, the Anderson kick was a 1/1,000,000 shot. Wouldn't happen again.

 

I'm all for big match ups but if he beats Sonnen he deserves his title shot. Stann vs Beflort should he win the title is an interesting fight.
