Fwiw- I completely agree with his stance on PEDs and those using should be banned for life. Yeah also thought Joshua originally but for me Haye springs to mind for gaining all of that extra muscle in his time off. Think he is also more likely to have a sly dig at Haye as opposed to AJ
I watched this yesterday and immediately thought he meant Joshua. He spoke well of Haye a couple of minutes later, something I doubt he'd do if he thought Haye was on drugs given his passionate stance on the matter.
I agree, no different from taking a weapon into the ring. The state of testing and punishments in boxing are pretty pathetic.
It is in most countries, lets be honest in boxing britian has the strictest peds testing in the world with year round random drug testing. they should always look to improve the system but other countries really need to step up
True. Whyte and Galahad got 2 year bans. When Ortiz tested positive he got 8 months which is nothing when top level guys only fight once or twice a year. Peterson was even allowed to keep one of his belts when he tested positive. All comes down to money and politics rather than trying to uphold any integrity.
could be referance to kovalev.... being russian and with all the latest revelations of russians doping in athletics and all the cover ups... all boxers have to come under more scrutiny in particular the russians....
