showed heart and determination, but looks fragile, needs to move up to cruiser, got an emaciated apearence, ovill is a good name on his record, but it has to be said he is pretty limited in every department excluding punching power, he's got the speed of movement of a bigger man, and the more natural l/heavys make him look clumsy, basicly he's gaining with one hand and losing with the other.:think:good

i think he mentioned weight as a factor in the post fight interview. i don't think theres much point in staying at LHW tbh.

its not like he's in david hayes position in his last days as a cruiserweight where he hung around just long enough to have a couple of world title fights.

I think cruiserweight is a weaker division anyway bellew could probably get a British title fight with norton straight away

Tony is that good and if his body is telling him to move up thats what he should do,remeber he boxed succsefully as an amateur at heavyweight which is the eqivelent of cruiserweight in the pros

Mate i get ya, I appreciate ya suport as well but, People gotta understand Im not saying im the second coming of a legend all im saying is I know i can do something in the sport, Im fighting tough guys, These prizefighter winners are getting all kinds of opportunities but McKenzie didn't cos he's so dangerous, I gave him a shot coming in on the best form of his career and have got past him and stopped him, I admit I showed flaws and I ain't perfect but I gained a lot from last night and i'll continue to improve believe me on that mate..:good

Yeah you can take a lot of personal pride in taking on an avoided fighter, never mind beating one. I remember when Mosley was talking abou Mayweather and he started saying 'I've got no regrets, I fought the Vernon Forrests and the Winky Wrights', something like that, made me respect him.:good

By the way Tony i never thought you were making out you're the second coming of John Conteh or anything, i made that 'not great' comment in a response to Billy Nelson's post. I'm not th kind of fan that hates on 'cocky' fighters, it's good to be confident, no issue there at all. I'm a scouser, but that doesn't mean i like all scouse fighters, i've never been a Paul Smith fan, not at all, his attitude stinks imo. Whereas i've rooted for you because I like your personality. You've got good energy in your interviews and ****, gets the viewers up for the fight.

175 to 200 is a big jump we are talking nearly 2 stone. It's up to Bomber obviously as being weight drained is far more detrimental then being outsized and he knows his own body better then we know it but this isn't a decision I would take lightly.

Bomber just a suggestion (even though I am sure you don't give a **** what a internet keyboard warrior has to say) but maybe it would worth doing an 8 rounder at something like 180 to see how you feel at that weight and how you perform. If you feel good then you might as well stick it out at 175, if you feel weak at 180 then maybe it is time to move up. Either way this decision shouldn't be made lightly just because of 2 so so performances.

Oh I agree I know better then to say change trainer, fraud or any of that other crap you can sometimes find on message boards.

I know that Tony is a very proud man and I hope that just because he didn't obliterate his last two opponents that he feels that is down to the weight when the reality is that it might just be that he was caught out. Simply put give it another shot unless it is really killing ya to make the weight.

I fully expect Tony and the team to make the right decision, but that message was partly for Tony but mostly in answer to the opening post.
