The more pertinent question should be when was the last time that Cleverley was put on his arse by a man with a 2% KO record?...Or knocked down multiple times by non-punchers like Ajisafe and McKenzie (please don't come back and say that McKenzie is a monster puncher because he really isn't). TB can punch alright but hes fragile with it.

I had it 6-5-1 Bellew. Very close, very good, no robbery either way. Rematch needed

I think if Cleverly and Bellew were to fight again i feel Tony would see the job out this time. As Slip said his shoulders got tired it was his first high level fight and he tired a little and allowed Cleverly to win a few rounds where maybe he shouldn't of.

Close fight, i felt Tony did enough but i think next time he'd take it. I don't see Nathan improving like Tony is.

Bellew did all the best work in that fight. I really don't see how he doesn't win 6 rounds in that fight at all. It was work-rate vs skills and punch picking and Bellew got enough rounds in the bag clearly early on to ensure he deserved a draw minimum.

Yeah same I had Bellew winning by 1, close fight so I don't think you can say either is the better boxer.

What a mis-match. I hope Eddie Hearn is going to use his 20+ dates better than this.

Why surprised me was how well Bellew boxed against Clev. He was winning the fight on the jab alone early on (I think I had him winning something like 4 of the first 5). As he got tired tho, Clev's work rate won it for him.

The better punches were landed by Bomber tho

If bellew does decided to defend the British to win it outright who do people see as the opposition out there

    Ajasafe - rematch
    Travis Dickinson
    Courtney Fry

Slim picks who would you chose if it was a British title defence?

    I wouldn't bother.

Gutknecht for the Euro is a progression fight and certainly he didn't look any great shakes in his last few.

    Or fight somebody top 10.

Dickinson is probably the best of that sorry list.

I'm sure. There was a huge amount of votes for the draw, but it was definitely leaning towards Clev rather than Bellew.

I wasn't talking about Cleverly & Bellew shaping up as all round fighters just answering Bryn's point about there being little difference in power between the 2. Which I personally think is wrong.

I had Bellew winning when they fought but I haven't ever called robbery. The fact is everybody had it very close which suggests as I said earlier, they should be considered as equals.
