I'll first of all say McKenzie did great against Billy Boyle and did what he had to do, Me and Maloney had a litle spat, I let him know I'll do his fighter no problem as he was having a go at my trainer!! I told the little dwarf it doesn't matter wether it's Ovil or not I'll get that title!! His reply was something like tell such and such to f off to which I said go and f**k yourself you garden knome!!

The fight with me and Ovil was all made, I had agreed and Ovil had agreed terms and all he had to do was beat Boyle and prove he can get close to the light heavy limit, He done this so the fight should have been done BUT now his promoter has put a stop to it!! Nothing to do with my side it's all to do with 1 man!! The garden knome!!

I respect Ovil he's a good fighter and was willing to get in a ring with me so for that alone I was giving him 100% respect... It's just a shame now that the fans and paying public won't get to see a good matchup of 2 exciting punchers coming head to head.. I feel it's also a shame that Ovil shouldn't be allowed to fight me for the Commenwealth title too!! It's a terrible shame..

I hope he makes a decision and tells the garden knome I want to progress my career and fight for a title.. Im hoping so anyway.I wish him all the best either way.

This fight is a must I feel and if the garden knome puts a stop to it then it shows he don't want his fighters to progress in my opinion..:-(

I wonder if Maloney reads these forums ? He's gotten some stick on here recently, what with the thread about his shows being the worst bar none and this

I have his book and he seemed to have been a pretty decent bloke up until about 3-4 years ago, now he seem to be losing the plot big time.

I still wanna know (without bringing up any hurt) what he did that has upset the Sutherland family so much

It was interesting to read the results on Boxrec for Friday and see that there were no Eurobums on display.

All in all it was a good show, the supporting contests were fairly evenly matched, if spoiled slightly by another dodgy decision..... but certainly a marked improvement on recent weeks.

According to Steve's William Hill podcast there are certain fighters that have been blacklisted. Great move, it is the entertainment business, boring/**** (or both like Haskins) fighters shouldn't be clogging up slots that young up and comers or entertainers could take.

FTM if you're reading this you are a fool let Ovill take this fight there isn't a better fight out there for him and there isn't another fight that will get him close to the pay he will get for fighting Tony all you're doing is hurting you're own fighter.

 

I sincerely hope he reads all your views guys.. The only man stopping this fight from happening is Maloney!! Ovil wants it and I want it big time!!

I'd love to fight McIntosh but I don't see him beating Oakey if im being totally honest and if he does lose I doubt he'll go straight in with me after losing 2 on the run!! I wouldn't even think about stopping Tony Oakey, I'd be prepared for 12 hard rounds and if it came then I'd be happy but you can't fight people like him expecting a knockout..

Dean Francis is a dangerous operator and serious puncher, I don't know who has the bigger power if im honest but I do believe in my own power and believe if that if i catch someone on the button they will go regardless of who it is..:good

 

Oakey has got a tremendous engine but I honestly reckon he'll walk onto one of Bellews right hands. His style is made for Tony Bellew. Id love to see that fight, no backward steps taken, a good tear up between 2 class acts in and out of the ring.

 

It is pretty clear that the majority of the division are giving Tony a swerve...:yep

As frustrating as this might be it is a fantastic compliment of the power and ability that Tony has developed from the amateurs to the pros...:bbb

I would love to see a fight with Oakey... I personally think that Tony would use his boxing brain and box his way to a late stoppage over Oakey.

Oakey has the ring wisdom for sure, but the energy and power of Tony will be too much late on...

Oakey is a fantastic benchmark and make another step in the direction of Cleverley...:yep

I just have my concerns if the promoters will do business to make this Oakey fight happen...:think
