Sorry but when McIntosh was European champion and i ranked him ahead of Tony Bellew all you lot claiming him to have pedigree were calling him

Why does Tony deserve a rematch. He was a voluntary defence, he faced Cleverly in his own home town and I am sure he got well paid for doing it.

Theres plenty of fighters with sob storys but Bellew is not one of them. He got given a shot at the world title in his home town and didn't win.

When Tony Bellew faced Nathan Cleverly what has he done to deserve his shot more than Karpency or Kransqui? Nothing but start a fight at a press confrence and open his big mouth.

Cleverly would get a rematch and deserved one had he lost the fight as he went to Tony's home town to face him, in a voluntary as the champion. and lets be real had Tony won that rematch...he wouldnt be fighting Dawson, Hopkins or Cloud either.

bellew is my most respected fighter around at the minute, mainly cos when he talks you can tell its from his heart.

What i can say on this fight is bellew needs it now! and clev needs it in 1-2 years, when hes more savvy in the ring and bellew has a few more years on the clock.

its also hard to say whether wazza would have given clev an instant rematch if they lost, i mean degale was wazzas golden boy before he lost to groves and he didnt get a rematch.

:deal Bellew showed just what a limited fighter Cleverly is in the early rounds, completely outboxed him.

i jump on everybody when they pull bull**** unless there one of the fav fighters. if they come on this forum or not it makes no difference to me.

if bellew talks ****...which he has done in the article...i will say so.

why not try and answer some of my questions.

why does tony deserve a rematch?
what had he done to deserve the fight in the first place?

I scored the fight a draw. IMO it was a close enough, and entertaining enough fight to warrant a rematch.

Since beating Murat his level of competition has really dropped off. He's still really a prospect with a paper belt but in the last year or so he's not progressed at all. Talk of fighting Hopkins/Dawson is ridiculous, but he could have fought Sukhotskty by now and be fighting Cloud in the summer. Instead it's a journeyman, a very unknown and unproven fighter and probably Enzo in the summer.

I do not beleive McIntosh to be better than Karpency.

I thought Cleverly won the fight 116-112. So did the judges. Infact I havent heard anyone calling a robbery outside off this forum.

Struggling to beat Ajisafe and needing two opportunitys two definitavley beat Ovil McEnzie is not better than anything Karpency and Kransqui have done.

I am pretty sure Tony was injured then the purse bids came up.

the groves fight went to purse bids.

cleverly vs bellew was a voluntary. clev went to bellew back yard and beat him infront of 8,000 scousers. he deserved a rematch if he has lost....which he didnt.

yep. his title reign has been appalling.

He faced Kuziemski, Tony Bellew and Tommy Karpency. All guys that didnt deseve world title fights.

I am looking forward to the day a fighter who doesn't post on this forum takes a fight at short notice and tells everybody he is only 3lbs over the limit and then 5 hours later its revealed he was 15lbs over....to see how much stick he gets.
