Hi Wondering if anyone can help? I was educating my missus on british boxers via youtube and when this fight came on I told her benn had smoked a joint laced with pcp the day of the fight, now I can't find the interview, she reckons i'm making it up.
If you google it, it's the second link, but that link is broken. It says "he was high on pcp the day of the fight..." but only link I see
It was something along the lines of "I smoked a joint/spliff with pcp the day of the fight, its just something I did"
He gave several long and coherent interviews immediately after the fight, so it's doubtful he was high on PCP. This content is protected
Benn was faster and that was not a good style for Barkley. Quicker with roundhouse punches on the inside, yet any one of Barkley's punches could have turned it around, and the 3 knockdown rule did hurt Barkley, but Benn looked better that night and deserved to win. Odd how Dewitt almost gave Benn a tougher fight than Barkley did.. Yet Barkley hit harder than Dewitt.
