The point that Benn, Hearn and Matchroom are all missing - or in denial about - in the most spectacular of fashions is that he not only failed a drug test ONCE but he failed the test(s) TWICE and yet still, they pressed ahead with the fight in full knowledge of these facts and issues where common sense - morally and sporting - would have been to immediately postpone the fight after failed test #1.

Instead, the love of the Pound Coin overweighed and overshadowed any rational sensible decision making by those concerned.

It's the fact that they knowingly failed two tests and STILL pressed ahead with the fight, on the quiet, that irks all fans of boxing and it's why it is difficult, innocent or guilty, to forgive.

If only they had come clean, pending the B Sample, at the 1st time of asking and they might have garnered some sympathy.

Instead, they've tried to pull a fast one, been caught out and rather than "hands up", are trying to play "damage limitation" which we all know is going to cause a right stink.

Bottom line - nobody outside of their clique is going to believe a word they say in the next few weeks. Damaged goods.

Well now his wife has chipped in saying he is innocent we have to believe him

One thing we do “embarrassingly” know is her husband failed 2 drug tests and weeks later still cannot say why.

This pathetic couple don't actually come out and say what the truth is. They keep repeating ad infinitum that they know the truth. Say the bloody truth then you pair of imbeciles.

They haven't opened up at all on what happened due to fear of it coming back to bite them in their case with the board. That's why they've hidden behind confidentiality/legal issues etc. It's all complete rubbish. They've invested so much time and money hiring a legal team when if he was innocent, he could have traced whatever product accidentally gave him it, taken the ban on the chin or argued his case, and got on with his career but the truth is, he was taking PEDS, got caught twice, tried to carry on until it got exposed and now they're scrambling around for loopholes in the process from UKAD, VADA and the board which I'm sure if you spent enough time and money on it, there would be some flaws to pick up and use in your favour.

I really hope they get taken to task. All of them. Sauerland, Matchroom, Conman Bent and his stupid naive thick dolly bird. Everyone involved. Shameful behavior from all of them
