Tony Bellew is only friends with boxing trainers who are men of honour and integrity, whose fighters don't use PED's, like Tony Sims.

What happens if Benn doesn't engage with UKAD or the board?

Would Benn be allowed to box in the UK, even if he didn't fight under the Boards control?

 

I don't think so. I think you need a British board license to fight in Britain.

 

Not sure but on that point it wouldn’t surprise me if Hearn keeps Benn away from UK crowds for one or two fights by having him on a Saudi or US card. I can imagine he’ll get dogs abuse from a lot of fans until either people stop caring or he’s in a fight where the majority want him to win.

You can fight on a foreign license but not if your banned by the bbbc.

So in theory Benn could go and get licensed by Luxembourg or Malta or any of the other country's governing bodies but even if he was licensed by them if he was banned by the bbbc he couldn't fight here on a show that is licensed by them. If he wasn't banned by them he could fight here tho

The kicker though, HE handed in his licence because the BBBOC were bullying him which conveniently means he cannot be banned because he isn't licenced.

It is almost as though handing the licence in was entirely cynical.

You could then end up with potentially BBBoC being able to block the entire event due to it bringing boxing into disrepute? Like they did with blocking the fight in the first place.

Obviously then would end up with a big lawyers battle, Matchroom vs the Board and we all know who wins then.

 

Thank goodness in such a suspect industry / business as professional boxing we have one of the few honest people Tony Bellew. We can all be proud of him.
