Well we all have egg on our face, Conor Benn was found inncocent by the always fair and impartial WBC.

 

I heard that they only investigated one of the failed tests, Which if true is utterly farcical

I think, the one from the WBC Clean boxing program has been looked at. The second one despite still being VADA hasn't because Eddie Hearn paid for the test to be done, so in theory he is the governing body over that test.

So I assume that means Eddie will conduct his own detailed investigation into that test.

 

This is the reason he will still be a PPV star. Floyds PPVs did very well on the back of a lot of peoples hoping he will lose. Hearn will be coming out now saying Benn is the new Floyd.

The thing is, as much as people wanted Floyd to lose, they kind of knew he wouldn't. And Floyd wound people up.

Benn has zero charisma and is very likely to lose - Matchroom's only option is the "street" image that plays well with a sub-set of casuals. If anything that image might just work better as the bad guy.

Why are people putting so much emphasis on the BBoC? The board didn’t exactly show themselves in a good light when they got the test results. They did nothing for weeks so why anyone wants them to be the arbitrator of all this I have no idea.
