But he wasn't a big ticket seller before this incident, with the exception of the Eubank 'legacy' fight which drew in the casuals his last few fights were in half empty arenas or he was on the undercard. If he couldn't build a big following on sky sports what chance has he got hidden away on a streaming platform
Eddie Hearn would make a fortune in the Artic Circle selling Choc Ices on a sledge. The man can sell anything to the cohort of Box Office purchasers as they believe every word coming out in that Eton accent.
They want this judged in .... the court of "public confusion and ignorance" the court of "public whataboutery" the court of "conflicted financial interest" the court of "lawyer financing ability" anywhere apart from the "court of doping rules/procedures and expert knowledge".
Benn has never been a ticket seller. He has never had to sell tickets, never had to work a job whilst training, never had to find sponsors, never had to pay his oppo purse, never had to earn it in the ring with domestic fights That is why everyone has got the needle over this. It's a ****ing liberty. Also, what governing body is going to license a fighter that has failed 3 tests? Every governing body will want their respective anti doping agencies to look at the paper work
This makes no sense at all. How the heck can Benn get the sample and give it to UKAD? Benn can't just ask Vada for his sample back and then do what he likes with it lol. Not forgetting ukad already tested Benn. His obligations to UKAD were done.
None other than what Benn has claimed. I just don't think his legal team would allow him to make such claims unless he was covered and Vada couldn't then threaten him with legal action. His basically accusing Vada/WBC clean boxing program of foul practice. His legal team would advise against that.
Ahhh right ... you've introduced the word "claimed". OK, it is what he claims ... but it's not an established fact, at least as yet. I'm much less sure than you are that .. 1) Benn's lawyers know exactly what the accepted lab process is for drug testing a urine sample. There may be reasons that a sample is split and tested for different types of substances on different days. It may be that when he says "it came back clean the first 3 times", he simply misunderstands what was being tested on each test. 2) Benn is taking much notice of any professional legal/PR advice. Obvs I don't know what the drug testing process is either, but it doesn't take 270 pages to say they tested it 4 times. It seems to me they are just throwing as much mud around as possible to hope something sticks. I don't know if VADA could sue him or not, it's really down to the lab isn't it? And I don't think he's named it, soooo ..... ? Anyway, hopefully we shall see, and all this will be transparently cleared up in time, ....... I'm here all week
Puroresu_Fan it's ok to have a day off from the Matchroom d*ckriding. You wouldn't be saying any of this stuff if Benn was with Frank or Ben. Let Benn take his 270 word document to the BBBofC and let's conclude this one way or the other. Going on Piers Morgan is accomplishing what exactly
Benn has said the piers morgan interview is the last time he is talking about it and is moving on with his career
A snippet from his Piers Morgan interview. "If you don't think I'm innocent or if you think I'm innocent.... I am innocent" This is cutting edge stuff from Con. Can't wait to see the whole thing and watch this twaat fumble, stutter and shrug his way through what probably is relatively soft questioning. He's not media trained to the extent where he can come out looking good from a televised interview like this.
