Eddie Hearn doesn't care. Many years ago I was told by several sources that Joe Frazier was sent into the ring blind in one eye. I could tell stories about unscrupulous boxing promoters that cannot bear to be told, they are so appalling.
I really hope the boxing media, journalists and fans don't let this die a slow death and instead harass Eddie and Matchroom for answers. They shouldn't be allowed to give us some BS excuse. The amount of social media attention that this has gained gives me some hope that this won't just go away.
I agree, although I'll probably just boycott Matchroom/DAZN. There are plenty of honest fighters out there who had no part in this.
Jnr has suddenly never been more likeable whereas it's quite the opposite for Benn who is now being derided and rightly so. I think Jnr would still take this fight and do what he was going to do anyway, he's a lot better than Benn, PEDS or no PEDS.
Hearn's attitude towards drugs involving his fighters is disgusting. I remember him being pushed I think by Boxing Social as to why Rivas wasn't told about Whyte's adverse test before their fight 'He didn't need to know' - can you imagine his reaction if the shoe was on the other foot both then and today. Complete hypocrite!

I think even his die hards are turning on him now. The tide has been turning since DAZN but its really turned now. The man has no shame at all either.
I’ll tell you what blows my mind - parking the views about PEDs to one side for a minute - that Benn was actually stupid enough to do it and get caught. He would have known what the testing cycle was going to be like when he signed up. I’m assuming he has someone on his team who’s aware of how to cycle & time it. It’s likely not his first rodeo. And he’s just defaecated all over his biggest fight to date. FWIW, I do think PED’s are rampant in most sports and boxing being one of them. But I don’t think all boxers use them, and I genuinely don’t think Jr does. He lives the life, KFC and Salt Bae trolling aside, and stays in and round the same weight. His physique never really changes much, God knows he posts enough pics of himself in tiny shorts on Insta.
