I'm saying it's irrelevant in the sense that the testing that that could see Benn suspended is the Ukad testing. It wasn't rushed through at all. The rumours of this fight getting made was many many weeks ago. The teams were negotiating well on advance of the official announcement. Hearn didn't fail to secure the AJ fight on dazn. The network lost the bid, that's not Hearn.
Isn’t it amazing that Hearn can’t chat with lucizade and under armor and negotiate which sponsors are placed where on Joshua’s shorts. Yet he can file injunctions/suppress the media/source another governing body in 24 hours to save Benn.
If it goes ahead I have a bad feeling all this publicity, however negative, is going to help their figures. It's been all over the sports sites, plenty of people who didn't know the fight was happening know about it and now it has some controversy attached. Can see some paying up to watch Eubank exert some kind of justice in the ring. If it does do well this will be a case study in evil Boxing marketing school for years to come...
Its not a masking agent. It makes the body produce more natural testosterone. Used as a ped after a cycle, cos when they come off the cycle their test levels are hammered and they can start to lose gains quickly. This brings their test levels back up and able maintain the benefits of the gear for longer
Who said they had done this? Also it won't be the same sample so it doesn't matter. It's literally all about money. I'm baffled how you're out here defending all this
Utterly shameless situation from Benn and Hearn. As if boxing needed another reason to be looked down on. I hope there is no blow back on Nigel because of this. A good ten years or so back didn't Gerald McClellan's sister claim they found traces of PED's on one of Gerald's shoes from their fight? It seemed to have blown over. The accusations went away, but this could reignite them if the McClellan's catch wind of what happened with Conner.
And I agree. I think it should be called off. But I will also be watching it if it goes ahead, that obviously makes me part of the problem right ?
Agreed, although I'm hopeful the boxing community, ex-fighters and press never let Hearn forget about it and it has some kind of long term effect.....Maybe that's wishful thinking.
Oh I'm not having a pop mate, sorry if it came across that way. Watch what you like, I am tempted to watch myself. If only to witness the bare-faced cheek of those concerned. Besides, there must be a decent chance of a lightning bolt from the heavens, such is the brazen nature of the enterprise by this point. If they really want my money however they would screen the video of the meeting they held after the positive test where they work out how best to use this to drive more sales. Or even better, the meeting where they bribe VADA to deliver a positive test because they've worked out that it will deliver them x million pounds of free publicity at just the right time to push awareness of the fight into the mainstream! A goldfish to them is what Derren Brown is to the average guy in terms of memory.
This content is protected No surprise Peter 'proper boxing man' Fury wants the fight to go ahead. After all he did have Hughie and Tyson on gear.
