Oh of course it will go away, just like it did with Whyte after the Rivas fight. Like all areas of corruption and nastiness in boxing - whether that be dodgy judging, MTK etc. everybody within the industry - authorities, broadcasters, fighters, journalists, the vast majority of fans will happily look the other way as long as ‘everybody wins’. Nobody wants to lose access, credentials, paydays etc. and anybody from within the industry that stands up to it will just get bullied and threatened by the person with influence. Matchroom produce their own coverage of shows and stuff on DAZN FFS, which demonstrates how incestuous this all is. It’ll take some outside interference (such as the Feds with Kinahan) for Hearn to face any serious questions or consequences for this.
Can you please post a warning next time you're going to post similar? This content is protected Now I need a new monitor
Just on your last point, I understand that Dazn put in a higher bid than Sky but the Saudis didn’t like the way that Hearn worked in various announcements and accepted the Lower sky bid.
Should be pressing this scumbag on why the B sample takes so long. Shouldn't be let off the hook so easy. How can this particular drug be found in Baby Benn when it's only used in PEDs. Let him worm his way out.
It’s nothing like this is it ? It would be like taking a driving test not taken with the DVSA and failing while also passing the DVSA test entitling you to a driving licence. I'm not defending him here btw , I don't think the fight should go ahead but imo it can only be called off on moral grounds by the promoters/fighters/management etc. VADA testing is what it is, voluntary . It can be used used as a way of protecting/keeping rankings and peace of mind for both boxers , amongst other things. In this instance that peace of mind has been compromised , however Jr still wants to fight and that’s his call and entirely up to him. I think the board have to tread carefully too , he passed all the tests from the testing body that they recognise for this fight. EH and co have been very vocal against exactly this in the past so you would think that they should pull the fight , that in itself probably opens another can of worms as Jr is due to earn incredible money and wants to fight, denying him that would have implications. I was going to watch it but now it feels tainted and I'm certainly not keen on contributing to this pot of cash by way of PPV anymore. This is not exclusive to MR though, the amount of fights I have heard whispers about where allegedly exactly the same has happened but it never made the public domain and the fight went ahead is shocking, fights everyone on here would have watched too.
They don't always test the B sample, in fact rarely do in cases such as this. If VADA was the body the board used for testing for this fight then I believe they would test the B sample as they would need to. Here it is just basically a private agreement between the fighters to sign up to voluntary testing, results of which are supposed to be confidential.

So if vada results are just sent to the relevant fighters/promoters and these results have been known for a couple of weeks how have they just emerged into the public eye yesterday? Afaik it was the daily mail who broke the story but I wonder where they got the leak from at that point int the proceedings ( few days away from fight night). If its the promoters who had the information from vada and both promoters/ fighters want the fight to go ahead ,then i wonder who leaked the story to the mail and why.
