Not sure why Robert Smith had to make those comments on a radio station. Completely unprofessional. He must be sweating after getting calls from Matchroom's and Benn's lawyers.

 

Surprised Benn has any money left the amount of lawyers he keeps paying for.

 

Hearn is just a pure scummer. I can accept promoters spouting bull****, it's all part of the game, but those crocodile tears over Patrick Day whilst acting this way are unforgivable. If you support manipulation like that then I have no idea what to tell you.

 

Maybe because they have been tounge tied through the whole process whilst Hearn and Benn have being able to spout whatever they want?

listening to his comments I was amazed he was so stupid to claim Benn hasn’t gone through the process. That was a ridiculous thing to say when the NADP lifted his suspension.

all he had to say was the BBoc are not prepared to sanction a Benn fight until the appeal is heard. Why he decided to go further I have no idea other than he wants his name in the media and wants to become popular among talksport.

The sheer desperation to get this show on is unreal! He must be under some serious pressure to put a big show on, but is it really worth all the damage this is doing to him and the sport?! His credibility is vanishing almost as quick as his hairline

 

It must obviously be a lot of money that Matchroom has invested in Conor Benn since they are so desperate. I wonder if some people will be subjected to threats to get the fight done ?
