We are still waiting for the announcement, but I wonder if it will be the week after next week I have heard that there is a bad atmosphere between Eddie Hearn and Conor Benn so we'll probably have to be patient.

They're made for each other if true. Eddie ruined his reputation riding hard for Benn Jnr's autistic war against the drug testing industry and the British Board. After all that, Benn's still not satisfied lol. It's like how Sky gave Matchroom the backing, platform and freedom to become the biggest boxing promoter in the world, but it wasn't enough for Hearnz Jnr.
I've wondered about this all along. Benn's whole career must have led to a sense of entitlement - but when he picks things apart in his head, he'll realise he was placed in the Matchroom Gym and has been "managed" from day one so why is he fighting his own battles now? Fascinating to watch it all play out.
Half of me doesn't want to see him get a pay day. The other half wants to see him somehow get a fight with someone like Ennis next and get embarrassed.
If Hearn and Benn do have a fall out, I hope they each go public because the way they have conducted themselves since Benn's positive tests has been nothing short of disgraceful and the dirty laundry would make for interesting listening.
It feels like Hearn is desperate to make his money back on Benn and wants to cash him out and get the coin in, Hearn knows he is rubbish without the Peds, whereas I think Benn is such an arrogant twat he thinsk he is world level when he has barely beaten anyone with a pulse at all
