twenty five quid to watch young CHRIS steamroll a feather fisted welter? not sure I'll be buying this one.
I never buy ppv but I might buy this as it would be worth it in so many ways. -Benn gets beasted -Hearn is wounded watching -Hearn then tries to sign Eubank in front of Benn -all the matchroom ex fighter cheerleaders justifying why Benn lost -team matchroom then bringing in malignaggi into the ring to hype benns return and call him out
Does anyone on here actually subscribe to DAZN UK? The posts all appear to be very negative and was just wondering whether this stick was from actual subscribers.
I did when it was just a couple of quid, then it went up and the shows were shite so I got rid of it, and won't be going back to it either.
I subscribed from launch and only recently (couple week) unsubed. I just don't feel like I'm getting value for money on the uk/euro fights. All the other content I can watch via YT as I very rarely stay up for fights these days. The good thing is u can sub/unsub easily and should a particular night of uk boxing come back on that I want to watch, I'll just sub for that month. I'll probably sub next month for Dalton as I do like him as a prospect. Regarding the posting on this thread. I do agree that most of the stick is warranted as we were told that there's no ppv. We're now been asked to ppv a meaningless fight. The stick is warranted!!
It’s all because the cost of sports rights is reflected in what the channels can charge for commercials. Rightly or wrongly darts fans are not an attractive demographic for advertisers.
I was a STAUNCH advocate of the ZONE when it was £1.99 per month. When they MOOTED price rises I went public on here in an open letter to the the ZONE management that a 25% price hike to £2.50 per month would represent my absolute LIMIT. When they tried to hit me instead with a 300% price hike to £7.99 per month? They naturally lost me as a subscriber.
BoxNation's first PPV was free if you had been a loyal subscriber / member. DAZN UK should do the same.
Dip in and out. Subscribed at first then unsubscribed when it was 8 quid for zero fights in January. Subscribed again around the time Canelo, GGG, Ryan Garcia all fought within a few weeks of each other & then cancelled again as the only UK shows they had scheduled for 3 months were Chisora v Pulev and Dalton Smith headlining a NxtGen card.
I have in the past but not now. Their UK shows are too infrequent and not worth paying for. I don’t have much appetite staying up all night for US fights anymore and only really like watching boxing live.
Yes, I've been a DAZN UK Subscriber since day one. I was so happy when Eddie "PPV is killing the sport of boxing" Hearn at the Matchroom / DAZN UK presentation said that PPV should be over. For a low monthly price, you would get everything - incl. 3 - 4 mega boxing events per year that would have been PPV on Sky.
