Big occasion etc yeah, I get that. That doesn't mean you ignore he got tagged a lot by some random guy. You take it into account and mention it. Mentioning things like "he had desire" is just empty rhetoric though. If you don't have desire then you don't fight to begin with.

He did was he was meant to but was unimpressive. That is to say I wasn't impressed. Not that he was pants, just that I found it unimpressive.

Thought he was older than 19 so there's no real rush.

you can't have it both ways, he got signed and earning already having only just laced gloves up BECAUSE of his name, therefore he will be judged closely every time he steps in the ring BECAUSE of his name. Nothing harsh there, would he prefer not to be signed and ignored as he boxes his first 20 pro fights down the legion !?

154lbs is about the max I was thinking and he will still be on the shorter side of that division as well.

It will be interesting to see how he goes 140-147 has a lot of talent usually but I suppose there are plenty of belts to go around

  9. Because of his daddy.

Fought a romanian car cleaner, and struggled. The opponent had to take a dive as he was able to trade with him and make it look like a 50/50 during spurts.

Can't see this kid going far without carefully picked fights on undercards.

thought he did well. only having 21 amateur fights that makes him an absolute beginner. what U see now and what he will be in 6 or 7 years time is a completely different fighter. :blurp

Complete beginner? Eubank Jr had 23 and was fighting a British and European champion in a final eliminator for the WBO world title within three years.

I remember Terry Carruthers giving Eubank a tough night, but Eubank has come on heaps and bounds since then.

All about development and gaining experience over time, in the gym and as he goes through the levels.

21 amateur fights, 19 years of age, making his debut in front of 20,000 live on Sky Sports on a PPV event and scoring a first round stoppage.... not too shabby.

Complete bull****. Benn fought in a golden era. Michael Watson ****s on any Brit fighter we have just now in terms of technical skills. This is one of the worst eras in boxing history. The talent pool is shocking.
