Benny Leonard v Ike Williams

Montgomery beat a 20 years old Williams and got ko'd 3 years later.Why do you think Montgomery beats Ike ? Because Bob comes from Philly?

 

Admittedly perhaps a little biased ....on the flip side it is not like Ike was green in 44 either I believe he beat Angott twice that same year and also beat a faded version of Bob Cat who would lose his last what 6 or do fights in that same stretch

 

Montgomery was a fine fighter.Williams thought that he held a bit of a grudge aginst him because of their second fight.

 

I got Ike, I think he could work his way to a close decision nod.

 

They'd share wins in a trilogy maybe. There's not enough good film of Benny to overly go on i think.
