    He was a bit of an enigma to solve. Very aware defensively without having a defensive style, accurate with his punches without throwing them in a textbook fashion. He looks like one of the naturals on film, a guy with innate abilities polished through ring experience. A little slip of the head followed by an overhand right or a winging left hook counter to catch the opponent off guard, didn't mind fighting out of either the southpaw or orthodox stance. You can't teach a lot of what he brought to the table, similar to a guy like Chang, though they were different in their approach and abilities. Lynch was much more of a loading up power puncher with his shots, whereas Chang was all about accumulation and punches in bunches. Lynch seemed more an unorthodox pressure puncher to me than a textbook boxer-puncher or mover, at least in the film I've seen.

    That's a very apt description. Especially the part about him being aware defensively without having a defensive style.
