perhaps you should add glen johnson to that list as well as bhop did give him his first L, i believe he was in his late 20's at that time.
Here's a quote from Glen Johnson, years after his purchasing The Bernard Hopkins Exposure kit: "I would love a rematch with Bernard Hopkins. He the only fighter I feel gave me a real loss". This speaks volumes about the effectiveness of this product. Many fighters have purchased this kit multiple times, including Robert Allen, Antwon Echols, Segundo Mercado, and former world champ Jermaine Taylor. When it comes to Exposure, go with the brand you've trusted for years. This content is protected :deal
When you really look at the complete fight of Bhop/Calzaghe, and not just the flash knock down, Calzaghe really embarrassed BHop. Calzaghe adjusted to Bhop quickly, and then turned up the heat and outboxed and really "schooled" Bhop. Bhop deserves respect for the way he handled Pavlik, but lets all be honest here. Bhop had to fake a low blow just so he wouldn't get knocked out. Calzaghe even ridiculed him in the ring, boinking him from behind, and Bhop didn't do anything and COULDN'T do anything about it! Bhop then took everything out on poor Pavlik, rather than take it out on Calzaghe when he had the chance to and COULDN'T. Look at Bhops facial expressions late in the Calzaghe fight, compared to his expressions in the Pavlik fight, totally different picture. Embarassing humorous smiles compared to the menacing tough determined look in the Pavlik fight. Proof he was schooled, and couldn't do anything about, and will never be able to do anything about it. And don't say Bhop got winded in the Calzaghe fight and that was the only reason of his loss. Bhop didn't get winded in the Pavlik fight.
Let's not forget that Hopkins put Winky on a milk carton as he went "missing" since they fought just as Mr. Hopkins predicted would happen. The guy is a God.
Exactly what I tell people who talk like hopkins beat joe. The thing about it is that hopkins had to stay in that shell because he couldn't deal with the handspeed of the 1000 slaps coming his way. He underestimated Joes footspeed and offensive-defense. If hopkins would have came out of that shell then he would have got the same treatment as roy jones and jeff lacy. He had no choice but to fight that cowardly fight. He didn't want to take chances and that's what he should have known had to be done. What did he think that joe was gonna be scared of him? I've said it before and I'll say it again. Bernard can't be beaten by a 1 demensional 1-2 1-2 stalker like Pavlik, Trinidad and tarver who are all the same fighters with different workrates and tarver being a southpaw. I don't think Hopkins would fight dawson because dawson is versitile with hand and footspeed, but I think Hopkins would take kessler out just because kessler fits the bill and moves straight back alot to get out of harms way.
