In Sugars own words, theres a lot of baseball historians. It's close to impossible to become well known/regarded world wide for knowing anything about baseball. Boxing on the other hand is a "lesser" sport in the publics eyes. There's not a lot of books, or even people who care about it so it's easier to become well known for writing about it.
