    i own a few of his books. great historian. the man had true passion for the sweet science, which is something im not sure you can say about most people in the business.

    Sad to hear, one of the very few boxing brains who have seen it all and had a great broad perspective when it comes to ranking greatness..

    Great historian, one of the most memorable persons in the world of boxing. He had a tendency to overrate old timers.
