How would you know this lol...???:nut Fighters and corner men don't think that their man lost when the scoring is announced believe it or not, they think that they more than likely think they might be robbed. You guys kill me with this type of assumption lol... Why do you guys think that when an announcer talks to a fighter and ask's them if they won, the fighter who won says yeah, I thought I won. He doesn't say that just to say it. The fighter who won, truly believes he won even when announcers and fans think he lost!

This is no more a robbery than Pac-JMM 2.

Both fights were close, with some very clear rounds and a couple of debatable rounds, where ultimately the decision went (IMO, and in the eyes of most seasoned analysts) to the wrong fighter.

Those types of decisions can't be called "robberies". When the wrong guy wins a close fight by large scoring margins, or wins a fight he should have clearly lost by a good margin - that's a robbery.

A close fight that in all fairness ought to have been scored one swing round in favor of the ultimate loser - that's an "unfortunate incident" and inevitably commonplace in the sport (and the reason we have and so look forward to rematches) - not a "robbery", which is a term thrown around too loosely and ought to be reserved for genuine injustices when they arise lest be watered down by fans constantly crying wolf.

the fight was way too close to cry robery.

the 116-111 card is a joke but the other two where feasable.

stop bitching, it was a great fight leave it at that.

didn't you hear his dad saying "I still love you son, you did great."? why the hell would he say that then? you acting like berto's the second coming of tyson. sometimes you have to score a fight a second time or more to get a better analysis before coming to a conclusion. like i said, it was a close fight, berto landed the cleaner punches, but you can't act like collazo doesn't have his own argument for winning the fight. that's my opinion for now until i watch it again

Either man winning last night would disappoint me one bit. Both fought their hearts out. Berto might give Cotto a fight for a while, and I think right now he would lose to Cotto in a 12 round fight, but Berto can't beat Williams or Margarito. He is not ready for those guys.

I know how to score a fight , matter of fact if you watched the fight Collazo haved more impressive and clear winning rounds than Berto, it seems that they were only waiting for Berto to win the last one in imppresive fashion to give the fight to him, ask yourself who was hurt more times during the fight and you can get to a better conclusion of who really won. But Its ok, beacuse it happens all the time Collazo is an underrated fighter who Berto himself said after the fight that hes an "Animal" , and Berto well they are trying to built him as the next superstar of course they are going to give it to him

I aint mad ,i have seen worst.

    P.S.
Its my humble opinion and I respected yours

Technically I had him winning 114-113 even losing the twelfth round, but it's his own damn fault. He had that fire to keep pushing through the fatigue and the pain in 9 and 10, where the hell did it go? Even if he thought he had rounds in the bank, he should have known as a veteran and a student of the game to dig deep for three damn minutes to seal the deal. Hell, a half dozen of those pitty pat shoeshines from earlier on and a couple of counter hooks would have made it a very close round...Berto only won it by mauling him and showing the judges that he still had mobility in his upper limbs. I don't think he's mentally weak, but I think Luis was mentally and physically weakened by the time the championship rounds came along. His mind was made up, there was to be no more fire. The silver lining from his perspective, I suppose, is that he went and got mauled instead of quitting on his stool.

I could say that Collazo didn't think he won since he mentioned that 114-113 was better than the 116-11 score, but I don't read into stuff like that. Both fighters knew the fight was close. You know how many times fathers, cornermen have said that type of stuff after a fight? That is what you got out of that little fatherly comment :lol:lol. You saying I'm acting like Berto is the second coming of Tyson??? You'd better check my posting history before you utter a lie like that.

It was a Robbery because Collazo would need to KO Berto to win. Even if he had won the 12th, he wouldn't have won. The winner was picked possibly before the fight even started.

Close fight. I had Berto sweeping 10-12, and this gave him, in my scorecard, a 1 point advantage. The point deduction was BS as was the 116-111 score. This was a close fight. Berto seemed more aggressive and landed harder shots, and this gave him a very slight edge.
