My initial reaction after the fight was Collazo did enough to win. But i think 114-113 either way was fine.

I had collazo winning it by a close but clear margin. I felt real bad for the guy not getting the nod. :-(

Lame judges were simply over impressed by Berto's flashier punches and didn't focus enough on Collazo's great work on the inside. Damn shame.

I know in the days to come, some people will claim "robbery" for Collazo but no way. It was razor close and could've gone either way.

114-113 for Callazo. But lets be freaking fair, It was a close fight. I don't know why some people are trippin and stating robbery, and Berto, said he'd give him a rematch, and I think he means it. The 116-111 was absolutely absurd. That being said it was a great fight!

With the exception of round 4 I will have to agree with you. At first I thought Collazo won the fight, but after rewatching it and actually watching it closely and scoring it, I have to say that Berto won 114-113. Great Fight!

Lets be honest. Berto also showed an excellent inside game. While Collazo's was nice at times but most of his punches on the inside were shoe shine punches.

:verysad Don't agree with that at all. I think most would agree that Luis usually got the best of Andre on the inside.

Berto managed to land some hard shots from time to time, but Collazo's superior head movement was making him miss the great majorty of his flashy swings... and while a lot of what Collazo was landing on the inside was shoe shine type stuff, it was still landing at a much higher rate than Berto's offense and was very effective in breaking him down to the body.

Andre's infighting and defense when in close is shabby at best.

In the beginning he landed the harder blows, and throughout the fight he landed more on the inside, but Bertos punches looked like the effected Collazo more, as Collazo dropped is guard late in the fight and looked more sluggish, unable to contend with Berto when he ratcheted up his game in the championship rounds.

Cosign. I watched it twice. I would not of been mad at a draw. Collazo is a great fighter and showed more skills. Collazo has a hell of a chin. He took those vicious uppercuts(Bertos best punch) well.

I agree that Berto probably landed better in the last two rounds, but fights are judged as a whole, not who finished best.. and by the look of the poll I think the majority of the fans have spoken and found Collazo as the better of the two infighters.

Besides, that was such a see-saw battle that the fact that Berto finished better doesn't mean much because in reality, had the fight gone on for two more rounds it's very likely that Collazo and not Berto might have won both rounds and finished best. And with the constant changes of momentum in that fight that's a very real possibility.... but when all is said and done, I think Collazo proved himself as the much better of the two on the inside, particularly on the defensive side of things.

    114-113
Callazo won, the horrible ref messed up the whole thing. He should've let them fight, he deducted a point too early then he looked like a idiot by not deducting anything after that when they still were holding.

Poor Collazo, he is the 147 version of Emmanuel Agustus LMAO!!!!!!!
