Yep, he gets caught out of position and off-balance with a flush punch to the jaw, yet still managed to regroup and (continue to) dominate the rest of the fight. It sounds to me all up-and-coming boxers have glass jaws by default these days.

Pacquiao KO twice, Khan wobbled with a jab, W Klitschko TKO 3 times, Cotto KD a few times yet they were succesful stepping up in competition.

Williams proves time-and-time again he has an iron-clad jaw but gets KO with a big clean power-punch. Boxing. Go figure.

Really an appropriate fight for Berto considering who he has fought to this point and who is available to fight him.

Dibella promotes both guys so it ought to be an easy bout to make.

People are quick to point out this footage without acknowledging that Berto dominated every moment of the fight before and after the knockdown.

I saw Collazo beat Berto. Pac should have gone ahead and knocked Berto out! Cintron should knock Berto out, but judges/ref will not allow it to happen.

I don't know about you, but when that happened I was thinking Berto was done. He wasn't done though he continued to dominate the fight even after the knockdown. I thought that showed that Berto had some good heart and I believe that was a great thing to happen to Berto who was a prospect. Getting dropped hard, didn't lose the, and quickly regaining his wits. All learning experiences that prospects need early in their career's.

Watch Berto rejects this fight for another JWW or C-level WW fight.

This is the fight that can put Berto in contention for bigger things if he wins. It's also a winnable fight for him. If he can come out looking good, he can't be ignored. He should take it.

I just can't see Berto taking this fight when he can fight lesser fighters for good money. Team Berto has no problem fighting bums & hoping to land a big fight with Pac. However, HBO said earlier this year that Berto has to step it up in 2011 & i hope that is true. Cintron, like most fighters that call someone out, is pushing for this fight, because he feels he can win this fight. We're talking about a guy who rarely calls fighters out. I happen to agree with him. Although he has mental deficiencies, it takes certain fighters to expose them & I don't feel Berto is one of them. This is just internet trash talk. This fight wont happen

I don't think Berto will take such a fight either.

    Berto vs Mosley
    Berto vs Collazo 2
    Berto vs Cintron
    Berto vs Margarito
    Berto vs Williams

    are all badass fights.

Really, there are plenty of fights out there for Berto. A fight with Cintron would be a good match between two contenders.

HBO will want to protect their boxer though.
