good point, chad is one of the most rounded fighters and it was never gonna be his coming out party against a vet like tarver who knows how to survive good to see him rematch johnson though

berto needs a lot of work, for them to try and thrust him into among the big players at 147 is ludicrous. cotto, mosley, paul williams, mayweather, clottey would all destroy him i'd even say collazo would beat in a rematch, the kid is still green but won't have time to grow if they keep telling him he has to fight the best right now

Berto could do with another fight or two before mixing it with the elite but considering he was an amateur at the same olympics as Khan he seems to be so much further ahead than Amir careerwise. Just goes to show how bad the hype machine in the UK is.

Berto has zero chance vs. Cotto, Mayweather, Pac, Mosely, etc., Collazo beat the crap out of him last time. If they fight again, Collazo would stop him. Berto holds the entire fight.

I was absolutely disgusted with Andre Berto. He hinted he was capable of this in the Collazo fight, but he went and took it to a whole new level and is now one of my most disliked fighters.

Ruiz...Hatton...Berto. Looks like we've a new generation of boring ****.

Kerminator, we must remember that berto is much more older and mature then Amir, don't forget khan was only 17 in those olympics. Berto also has been managed much better and that strap he picked up was vacant, while khans KO was one of the biggest mishaps in British boxing history by warren

I watched the fights this morning

Cintron fight was OK but the Berto-Urango affair was quite dull

I think it was probably worse if you'd stayed up til 5am though lol

Berto is a decent fighter, I don't like him but he's improving. It's no mean feat to shut out Urango so easily

Ian Darke just named Sugar Ray Robinson as a previous holder of the WBC Welterweight Belt!
