Probably going to get slated for this,but I totally agree. Naz is one of the best Brit`s Ive seen and he achieved a lot. Im going on fighters Ive seen fight live on TV or at the event not ones Ive only read about. For what they did Naz and Lennox stand out for me as they dominated their division for a time. After that guys like Benn,Eubank,Maguigan,Honeyghan come in. Herol Graham was a fantasic fighter and its a shame he never won a world title. I wonder what would have happened had he got the decision over McCallum. Joe Calzaghe also did very well and Id put him in with Benn,Eubank,Maguigan,Honeyghan. Steve Colins as well.
hard question to answer for everyone with different era's Lennox for me is the best British boxer ever. he did and beat all he could in his era revenged any losses would have beat Bowe IMO My top ten for what it is worth (not much) i am going for excitement and who they beat, not in just popularity and in no order, and only ones that i have seen in since 60's Lennox Lewis (king of the world, fantastic guy too) Joe Calzaghe (his win over Lacy did it for me, I bet against him) Herol Graham (stylish could dig, and later in his career shocked people with his determination) John Conteh (great style , Jab was superb, showed heart too, and was a great character) Chris Eubank (hated the twat, but his courage and heart are without question) Jim Watt (deserves a mention he did the business like him or not) Ken Buchanan naseem Hamed (another i disliked but again was great puncher and mover and brought more fans to watch boxing) Steve Robinson (although not everyones cup of tea, but did beat the best of british and a hard dedicated trainer, and did more than anyone expected he could achieve) Nigel Benn ( just mayhem in his younger days, but showed all the attributes of someone you would want him on your side in any crisis) others i would mention for various reasons . Michael Watson, Dennis Andreas, Lloyd Honeyghann, Paul Hodkinson, Colin Jones, Henry Cooper, John H Stracey, Dave boy Green
jim driscoll needs a mention. Had a decision stolen from him but earned the respect of the yanks at a time they didnt give it.
I would pay well over the odds to see Conteh v Cleverley....poor old Vince wouldn't be able to sleep at night after witnessing the event

Calzaghe is easily number one. Anyone who can do what he did with brittle hands and remain undefeated is amazing. He will be remembered as one of the true greats.
