For me there are three types of great chins. People who get dropped and get back up, like froch and mosley and calzaghe then people who dont blink at all when taking shots, like johnson and adamek finally people who take hard shots but have no defence and eventually crack, like vargas mayorga and hatton. the best chin today, in my opinion is Carl Froch. the amount of punches he ships in a fight, and he is still standing. he has only ever been put down once EVER (amatuer, pro or in gym) and that was by Taylor, the same guy who floored pavlik.
Both hurt him in my opinion but Sanders was more apparent. It wasn't just the uppercut - Lewis hit and hurt him in other rounds. Jabs knocked him askew, the right hand that opened the cut and other punches all had VITLAY at least going backwards. He may not have been perceptively wobbly, but it's a bit naive to think that a massive puncher like Lewis didn't hurt VITLAY. However, as it stands he gets my vote for having one of the best chins.
tyson had a very good chin..his fights near the end of his career not so much..but back in the day he could take a solid shot. :yep
