    Larry Holmes had no right to get back up after that right hand from Earnie Shavers.
    There wasn't many hit harder than Shavers and that was a full on blow.

    I seem to recall holmes saying the punch hit him that hard it practically knocked him out but his head hitting the canvas woke him up. Seeing that kd he's lucky he wasn't out for a week!

    Not by a long shot mate. Holmes had a pretty good set of whiskers and I can name quite a few heavy s that would have been out cold with that punch. Amazing recuperative power s of the man stopped shavers from winning the belt that day.
