Universum's gym can boast with some very good cruisers, too. Olympic silver medalist Kraj,Russsian amateur star Alexeev,Firat Arslan, and Grigory Drozd train there. Arslan will challlenge Virgil Hill next week,Alexeev gave tough Argie Avila short shrift who had been able to involve Hernandez in a death and life struggle,Kraj has been undefeated so far,and Drozd is a top fighter. To be honest I for my part would claim that Kraj,Alexeev,Drozd, and Arlsan are better names than Hernandez,Frenkel,Huck, and Wlodarcyzk.
Drozd isn't there that often - mos of the time he's training in Russia and only comes to Hamburg abou 2 weeks before a fight. Alexeev, Kraj are about at the same level as Hernandez at the moment. Frenkel is still developing. No doubt that Huck is the best of the bunch and Wlodarcyk, Arslan are both close in 2nd places...
Ding wants a title shot right away...he said he don't want to fight Huck at the moment, only beltholders...
No. Ding says he either wants a title shot or a eliminator. A title shot for him now is not possible. Mormeck is fighting Haye, Enzo is fighting some bum and Cunninhamm is fighting Adamek. His best option now is Wlodarczyk.
Ive been very impressed with what I have seen from Huck. When does he fight again? Not as familiar with the other 2. Havent seen Hernandez, but Ive heard good things about him. I had never heard of Frenkel before, is he a top prospect to watch out for?
Huck has faced and beaten the best opposition up to this point in time.I quite agree with you.I was flabbergusted watching him dominate Tokarev in his outing to a ring! Awesome! Wladarcyzk ? I have never been sold on him! Totally overrated IMO. Kraj and Alexeev would have defeated Cunningham-the Pole didnt impress me much in his two encounters with Cunningham who is no outstanding fighter either. As for Hernandez being on the same level with Kraj and Alexeev I tend to disagree with you. Alexeev gave Avila short shrift whereas the young Cuban had a death and life struggle with that Argentinian journeyman. Hernandez looked quite convincing in his last fight.............against limited opposition. IMO Alexeev has faced and defeated better opposition than Hernandez, but I wouldnt argue the toss about it.My gut feeling just tries to tell me that the young Cuban needs more time to take on better foes than Alexeev. Alexeev is on the point of facing good names. He was a successful amateur feared for his firepower. I for my part think that he can be the news cruiser weight king. Huck vs Alexeev would be a great fight IMO. Kraj lacks agressiveness.Usually he plays it safe. His style isnt the most exciting and crowd pleasing one out there. Both Huck and Alexeev are entertaining fighter-fun to watch. Damn! The cruiser weight division is truly one of the hottest at present.Lots of good fighters there.
Alexander Frenkel has good handspeed and one-punch-KO power but often fails to set it up correctly. He often seems to be off-balance, I would compare his style to Zab Judahs...he can become someone at CW, maybe even HW...
Heavyweight? Frenkel? Too small, tom! I watched his last fight live, and after his fight he returned to the arena joining a bunch of Armenians who were standing in front of my row.I am bigger than Frenkel, and I am not that big.Frenkel is far too small to take on the big boys! The same can be said about Alexeev!
