dunno theres loads some Italian deaf mute M'Gata or D'Gata or something once had the lights above his corner burst and this led to him burning his shoulder badly
The worst moment is lou dova telling meldrick taylor vs chavez "you need this last round to win the fight, go out there and give everything, fight with him" atsch
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9P6xbP7oKU It's in this vid :yep:good Near the end if I remember correctly.
Its not directly corner work, but I think its even better than that. We have all seen how Teddy Atlas brought a very young amateur round when he was nervous about Boxing! That young amateur was a certain Mike Tyson who's confidence was obviously low at the time! Imagine if Atlas was not able to bring Mike round, talk him into dealing with his fear, etc? Great mentoring by Atlas there. Say what you want about the falling out of Tyson & Atlas, but before all that, its clear they were quite close!
What about the end of the 10 th round in the Gavin Reece v kotelnik fight When Enzo Calzaghe's advice to little Gav is to throw some of his hardest shots and Gav starts laughing while saying those were my hardest shots. haha classic
my trainer once had an argument with his trainer so his trainer left him in the corner by himself and went away. My trainer won the fight In one of my fights i came back to my corner saying that was a shite round my trainer went absouloute crazy saying dont say that and we had an argument over it
'You want me to switch places with you?'. That bit kills me, just thinking of Atlas putting gloves on and fighting Holyfield. :rofl
