    When he said that he was speaking as a metaphor. Saying he didn't have it in him fight anymore, he was there to get a check.

    Tony Bellew (in his last fight) blamed his children bringing home colds/illness from school on his poor performance - he didn't lose, but Tony's a loser in the eyes of most boxing fans.
