    Glen Catley is the best I can come up with for my home town (Bristol). What would be the alternatives?

    Froch beats Hood by split decision.

    Unless Robin uses the bow & arrow, in which case it's a DQ. Either way The Cobra takes it.

    johnny caldwell. Jimmy McLarnin was born here but moved which ,for this thread, doesnt count.

    Interesting aside, the street where caldwell was from originally has a kinda unique claim as apart from johnny, two other guys won olympic medals, john mc nally and jim mc court, and they all lived in the same street.

    A world champ and 2 olympic medalists from the same wee street. Isnt that great?

    Sunderland - Probablys Billy Hardy although Tom Smith was really good
