Pretty much. He took 2 of three with prime Morales and absolutely embarrassed 27 year old Hamed.

Barrera was the best Pacquiao beat.

I say the Ledwaba performance is better than the Cotto performance.

Both Cotto and Ledwaba are probably at about equal level. Both were at their prime. But at least Cotto was competitive. Remember Ledwaba, was lightning fast.

Ledwaba was totally helpless. All he did was land a few stiff jabs and get pummeled. One of the most one sided beatdowns of a good fighter you will see.

You also forgot pacquiao took the fight on two weeks notice. Because the original opponent ledwabba was supposed to fight backed down.

I should have put that into it as well.

Ranking Pacquiao's performances I would go like this.

    1. Barrera I
    2. Ledwaba
    3. Marquez II
    4. Cotto
    5. Hatton

This is taking into consideration the quality of the opponent, how dominant the performance and the stage of the opponents career.

considering his preparedness before the fight, it would be Ledwaba. he just went to fight a champ in foreign soil for a long travel on short notice carrying only his strong will and belief in himself.

I've seen the Ledwaba fight but don't know to much about him as a fighter, the early part of Manny's career gets underrated or overlooked at times due to what he later went on to accomplish at the higher weights.

Prime Pac had some monster performances on his way up, respect to a legend.

It's not just Pacquiao who gets overlooked at the early part of his career.

It's all lower weight fighters. Below 140-147 a significant portion of the boxing world does not give a flying you know what.

Some of it comes down to being so long ago, but I think most of it comes from little guys don't get any respect.

Thailand is a hellhole for visitors, seen guys win 11 rounds and lose a decision, for folks who think Germany and Argentina are bad, Thailand makes them look lovely.

Fights outdoors, middle of the day, humid and hot conditions with the sun, absolutely awful place for a visitor.
