    I watched Marquez-Diaz 2, last night.
Being a Marquez fan I found it highly entertaining watching Juan Diaz after getting brutally stopped in the first fight attempt to change up his fight plan entirely and try to outbox Marquez.
There were long stretches in the fight where Diaz was doubling and even tripling his jab while back tracking in an attempt to make Marquez come to him. Just wasn't working for Diaz, Marquez was firing right hands over the top of Diaz' jabs and following it up with left hooks to Diaz' body.
Marquez just thoroughly boxed a masterclass against Diaz.

What I couldn't get over was Ronnie Shields advising Diaz the same words round after round. "Keep double, keep tripling the jab but get out of there."
I mean the plan wasn't working out and round after round Shields would instruct the same.
Diaz had turned in a great effort the first fight just sticking to Marquez like white on rice, at one point while seeing Diaz losing every round Shields should have thrown the gameplan out the window and said to Diaz, "Son, our boxing isn't working, he's way ahead of us, go out there guns blazing and do what you know how to do."

Shields never said anything of the sort and Diaz like the good student he is just followed through on every instruction laid to him by Ronnie Shields.

I like watching Martinez vs Pavlik. A great fight, many ebbs and flows of momentum. Sergio starts fast and the Pavlik takes the middle rounds. Then Sergio cuts up Pavlik bad in the late rounds. A beautiful fight to watch with Martinez’ entertaining and exciting style

Trinidad v Vargas never ever gets old.
That first shocking minute and follow up.
The way he gets back into it with his own knockdown.
    Some back and forth.
Then the ever so gradual late rounds beatdown of a previously unbeaten, never-been-hurt before rising superstar.
It is probably teh definition of seeing an unbeaten rising superstar having their will beaten out of them.
The other similar beatdown that springs to mind is Tito's other destruction of David Reid. But he was never he same again.

Ginger George Groves finally managed to do it. Hell of a display of cheen by Chudinov to take that many clean shots from a big puncher in quick succession, though.

OMG! The Cobra vs The Viking Warrior II

FTR, if you're wondering why Kessler is so handsome, is such a fearless warrior, and has such an iron chin. It's because he's half British

Benn would've sparked Sugar Boy this time round had he not been ruined by Vincenzo Nardiello. Nardiello, who also fought Sugar Boy beating him on points, also ruined Henry Wharton and was the only man to ever floor the titanium-jawed savage hooking Brit Level gypsy warrior
