    Hatton v Thaxton was also a good fight. Alex Arthur v Michael Gomez and Matthew Macklin v Jamie Moore are two great British fights.

    Fantastic battle.

    I watched that fight in a bar in Glasgow; almost ended up getting a worst beating than Arthur when the locals heard me cheering for Gomez.

    Absolutley. Lopez/Ayala was a freaking WAR!!! 1979 Ring Magazine fight of the year and a strong candidate for fight of the decade. Watch that fight and immediately afterward watch Lopez/sanchez I. That will give you a real good idea how GOOD Sal really was. It will also show you how totally ****ED Pac would be in that era!
